The Difference
Some people are confused on this matter, so I thought I'd give my 2 cents to help clear the matter up. The question is, "What is the difference between a reason and an excuse?" My answer is this: A reason requires deep thought. An excuse requires quick thought. That's just my opinion though, and who the hell am I?

By the way, I liked your comment in regards to the difference, but I'd like to add the comment that an excuse is solely self-motivated requiring an attempt to seek a defense for offensive behavior and a reason requires having sound judgment for a belief, which usually requires thoughtfulness for others and grounded logic. Earth, Wind, and Fire definitely gave "Reasons" requiring deep
thought, compassion, and rationality for their beliefs.
BTW, what's your excuse for no recent blog entries? Jamboree in the Hills hasn't started yet!
