The Taste Of Disrespect

Have any of you been so disrespected by someone that you can taste it? It just recently happened to me. Here is how it all went down. I've been working in my current field now for about 9 years. I have tons of experience, a pretty nice reputation, and enough letters behind my to be considered legitimate and knowledgeable in my field. Recently a job change has occurred that forces me to redefine my job duties and day to day business. While others may cringe at this type of adversity, I thrive on it. As soon as I heard about the changes, my eyes widened and I got hungry again. I missed that feeling. It was short lived, though. Just as soon as I was ready to jump in with both feet; I was informed that I would not be charting this career course. Some who has no idea what I do, how I do it, and zero experience in this field is in charge. hen asked if I could put in any input, I was greeted with a laugh and told, "it wouldn't be good to leave it up to you and your own devices". First I was shocked. Then I was angry. Now I'm just hurt. Loyalty, like chivalry, is going the way of the Do-Do bird. Oh.... By the way; It kind tastes like licking a 9 volt battery. But that's just my opinion though, and who the hell am I?

I'm sorry your taste buds haven't been to pleasant!

Take a moment and pull out "Reposition Yourself".

Begin reading Chapter 2.

Be open minded when reading the chapter.

I'm sure reading the chapter, you will gain some insight on dealing with Lyfe's unfairness.
